Information we use
Munnchy uses the account, profile, business, content, communication, device, and location information needed to operate requested features. We do not ask users to submit health information or payment details through Scout.
Scout AI Search
When you use Scout, Munnchy sends your search query, optional location, and the name of a business you choose as search context to an AI service provider to interpret the request. Scout does not send your profile, messages, email address, or payment information to that provider. Munnchy configures these requests not to be stored by the provider. Munnchy's Scout debug logging is designed not to retain raw queries, exact location coordinates, or provider responses; when enabled, it records only high-level parsing and search diagnostics. Results are generated from Munnchy's directory data and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date.
We may share information with service providers that help operate Munnchy; with shops or brands when you intentionally interact or communicate with them; when required by law or valid legal process; to protect the rights, safety, and security of Munnchy, our users, or others; or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business.
We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of exchanging it directly for money. Applicable privacy laws may define “sale” or “sharing” more broadly, and Munnchy will provide legally required choices where applicable.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Munnchy, maintain legitimate business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect the platform, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why it was collected.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including requesting access, correction, deletion, or information about how it is used or disclosed. California residents may have additional rights under applicable California privacy laws.
You may also manage certain account, location, notification, and device permissions through Munnchy or your device settings.
Age Requirement
Munnchy is intended only for adults who are legally permitted to access cannabis-related content in their jurisdiction. Munnchy is not intended for children or minors, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the service.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Munnchy evolves. When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the platform or by other appropriate means. The date above indicates when this policy was last updated.
